A rough November morning: First snow covers the corroded streets while the last autumn winds drift cold and lonely through the empty alleyways.
I move slowly forward in this endless sea of grey. My destination is almost in sight, but it doesnt make any sense to me.
Every day I follow this weathered road towards the old train station and I never meet another soul on the way.
"Nobody. Gets lost. In this godforsaken. Place."
Does it realy matter? Over all those years my friendly greeting turned into a numb and functional sound. Any feeling of warmth has long been gone from my chest.
Not even the embers remain of the hot flame that once spurred my hopeful heart. Only ashes are reminiscent of this extinguished spark of life.
After the arrival at the railroad I stare motionless into the darkness.
Thousands of questions are tormenting my mind, but I am too exhausted to focus on their answers.
This monotonous life gnaws at my mentality like rust on machine gears.
I fulfill my function in the great machinery, but all those repetitions will unavoidably lead to a standstill.
Suddenly... a single thought slips into my mind.
"What would happen, if I just stop breathing?"
ENTER. THE. VOID.

Bloody hell the vocals here are absolutely majestic; supremely dynamic with loads of variance in style while maintaining a visceral brutality. The atmospheric elements are gracefully and artfully intertwined but make no mistake, this is ruthless black metal first and foremost. Band synergy is also stunning and can be felt through my speakers; everything is just so masterfully packaged together.
